Thomas Penabad-Casas is an alumnus from Concordia University, Montreal, and has scores of letters highly recommending his services as a professional translator, consecutive and simultaneous interpreter and language instructor.
Thomas has translated sociological papers, descriptions of anthropological research projects, newspaper and magazine articles, asylum claimant stories, personal correspondence, resumes, legal opinions, accountants’ opinions, financial statements, commercial documents and correspondence, technical and general correspondence, geological survey and other types of technical reports, mainly relating to civil engineering projects, technical manufacturing specifications, as well as legal documents, such as court judgments, conveyances, contracts, affidavits, divorce decrees, civil registry certificates, etc., for the most part into English or into French and occasionally into Spanish.
Thomas has also interpreted consecutively and simultaneously into English, French, Spanish and Portuguese at all manner of meetings or conferences, legal proceedings, assessments relating to insurance claims, tours, etc.
He has taught in Canada, China, South Korea, Turkey and the USA.
