From song-writing to final mastering, Audio Empire can help you with any (or every!) stage of your recording project. When you record with Audio Empire, you're benefiting from the experience of a formally educated producer/engineer with over two decades of experience. We even have a roster of talented local musicians who can help provide extra instrumentation for your project!
Analogue and Digital Mixing
At Audio Empire we mix with the best of both worlds. Utilizing 15 channels of analog compression, 26 channels of high quality analog EQ, an echo chamber for room sounds combined with great digital plugins emulating the classics (Neve, SSL, Pultech, etc) as well has high resolution EQ and compression from PSP, reverb from Lexicon, Tape simulation from Massey.
For music production Audio Empire uses Propellerhead Reason with the essential refills.
For mixing drums we have 2 batches of Steve Slates famous drum samples along with the program Trigger.
We have an extremely flat 2.1 mix environment courtesy of the Dynaudio Bm5a, 12" Yorkville yss sub controlled by the KRK Ergo room perfect hardware room correction interface.
For reference monitoring we use the 3 way system with B and W Cm10 audiophile speakers powered by a tube pre/power amp with matched high fidelity tubes Tubes.
