The Architects Act

General Regulation and Bylaws Course

The purpose of this course is to familiarize members with the major topics of the legislation that governs the activities of all registered architects, licensed interior designers and restricted practitioners in Alberta. It is not meant as a replacement of a thorough reading of the Act, general regulation and bylaws, rather it is meant to function as a catalyst for a more detailed reading of this legislation. (It is recommended that members consider a complete review for an overall understanding to the amendments to the Act and General Regulations.)

Intern Interior Designers are required to complete the entire course as part of their licensure requirements. Intern Architects must complete the entire course prior to licensure.
