Summary of Experience

Alex Woda is an information security architect, systems auditor and management consultant with over 30 years experience in the information technology field.  

Mr. Woda specializes in risk management, electronic payment systems, internal control evaluation, information security reviews, cryptography, developing information security and enterprise architectures, managing projects, systems auditing, PKI and privacy assessments. 

He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars and has published articles on Achieving compliance to PCI DSS, Continuous Audit Tools and Techniques and Enterprise Risk Management.  Recent projects include: developing enterprise security architecture for a large retailer; certifying application systems under the NIST security framework; developing disaster recovery plans for an Ontario Agency; developing the logical and technical architecture for a Portal service; developing a security architecture and standards for an Ontario Ministry; designing LDAP / PKI compliant identification management systems;  and leading projects in conducting threat risk analysis and privacy impact assessments.   Mr. Woda also lead security assessment projects for PCI DSS.
