ABLE Mobile Hearing Conservation Services Ltd. exists to provide our customers with a level of service which reaches beyond WorkSafeBC compliance. Our team seeks to equip each individual worker and customer with information that fosters a proactive approach towards hearing conservation. It is our collective goal to reduce the incidence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss in the work place through accurate testing procedures and through practical, one-on-one education.

The success of any Hearing Conservation Program depends heavily on each worker’s understanding of noise in the work environment and on their appropriate and consistent response to it. Our Technicians, both in the field and in our office, highly value the opportunity to play a key role in an effective Hearing Conservation Program for your work force. Your hearing conservation success is our business!

Education and Training
Employers and workers need information about their noise exposure, the effects of noise on hearing, how to protect hearing by properly using and maintaining hearing protection, and how annual hearing testing is used to monitor hearing levels. We provide this information to both the employers and workers.

When Hearing Loss Occurs
Any sound above 85 dB can cause hearing loss, and the loss is related both to the power of the sound as well as the length of exposure. You know that you are listening to an 85-dB sound if you have to raise your voice to be heard by somebody else three feet away. Eight hours of 90-dB sound can cause damage to your ears; any exposure to 140-dB sound causes immediate damage (and causes actual pain).
