Our bagels are rolled by hand, boiled in honey water, then baked in an old-fashioned, wood-burning oven. They have no preservatives, no dairy products or by-products, and no salt. They're a delicious energy boost you can't feel guilty about!

Our Bagels are Kosher. Produced under the Supervision of the Ottawa Vaad HaKashrut.

Regular Bagels
Sesame Seed - Poppy Seed - Plain (No Seeds)

Bagel ingredients:

There's no salt.* No fat. There are no dairy products.* And only 100% Canola Oil is used. When you combine fresh ingredients with the irreplaceable smell of a wood-burning oven, you get "The Best Bagels In the World!"
(* Matzo Crisps contain salt. Muesli Bagels contain small amounts of skim milk powder.)

INGREDIENTS: Flour, seeds (sesame or poppy seed), water, malt flour, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, yeast, honey. That's it!

Seven grain bagels
Also known as Multi-Grain bagels. Delicious!
INGREDIENTS: Flour, water, cracked wheat, cracked rye, cracked triticale, barley grits, corn meal, millet meal, soya grits, flax seeds, malt flour, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, yeast, honey.

Cinnamon raisin
A true classic! Lots of cinnamon, lots of raisins. Our most popular specialty bagel.
INGREDIENTS: Flour, water, malt flour, cinnamon, raisins, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, yeast, honey.

Oatmeal raisin bagels
Your morning oatmeal always tasted better with raisins in it, didn't it? The same applies to bagels.

Lemon cranberry
A new favorite!

Whole wheat bagels
It's a whole wheat bagel. But then, all bagels have holes...

Muesli Bagels
We call this one "The Whole Meal Bagel" - look at the ingredients and you'll see why. If you plan to get lost in the woods, bring a few Muesli bagels.

Matzo Crisps
Also called "flatbreads," these crispy bagel boards are perfect for dips with Bagelshop's Own Gourmet Products. Available sesame seeds or poppy seeds.

We believe in the hands-on approach at the Ottawa Bagelshop. All day long, seven days a week, our wood-burning oven crackles with heat as the subtle scent of wood smoke fills the senses. Delicious bagels are rolled by hand, boiled in honey water, and then put into the oven, to emerge fifteen minutes later as golden brown delicacies. It's not uncommon to walk out of the Bagelshop with your favourite bagels hot in your bag. So come on in, and watch "The Best Bagels in the World" being made in front of your eyes.
