Brian Blosser, CPA

brian@blosser.ca

Brian started his own business as a public accounting practitioner in downtown Toronto in 1985. Starting with a small group of wonderful clients, he developed a business that has grown to include a multitude of small to medium size enterprises.  As his client base of successful businesses grew, so did the demands for quality accounting services.  Early clients grew from small enterprises into large multi-faceted associations of businesses, often reaching $30 to $40 million in annual sales; mostly in professional services.

He was at the forefront of the transition to computerized accounting using specialized software.  He developed strategies to ensure that information was available to make wise business decisions.  In the current environment, Quickbooks Online has become the favourite.

As more staff members joined, he developed expertise in financial statement preparation, advanced tax planning, corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions.

From the start he has enjoyed real estate investment and management. His clients have included multi-million dollar real estate partnerships and corporations developing commercial and residential projects.

With many clients in the not-for-profit section, Brian has worked for large associations, societies and foundations. This includes expertise in charity tax returns and applications for charitable status.

Brian has always worked in the community to volunteer his time for charitable activities.
