“How to create your own digital signature”

What you need:

  • Scanner & Scanning software

  • 1 Piece of white paper

  • Pen with at least a medium point (MUST be black or blue)

Creating your digital Signature!

Be sure to follow each step carefully, it will walk you thru creating your very own digital signature.

  1. Sign your name on the white piece of paper using either a black or blue pen that has at least a medium point. (Be sure the signature is regular size that you would use to sign a check or document)

  2. Place the signed paper in your scanner and scan it at 300dpi using your scanning software you are comfortable with

  3. Crop your signature within the scanning process to have the smallest amount of white space around your signature. (Crop meaning box in only your signature to have the least amount of wasted (white) space)

  4. Save your signature in a location and with an easy filename you can remember.  Save the file using any of these 3 file types .GIF, .JPG, .BMP

  5. Congratulations you have now created you very own digital signature!!!
