Now you hvave the parts, let's begin!
1. Remove the fuse panel beneath the steering column so that you have access to the fuse box. (Fig. 2)
2. Locate fuse #8 (Taillights/License Lights/Instrument Lights Fuse) and remove it.
3. Place the red wire from the buzzer into the fuse slot so that it is making contact with the metal in the slot as shown in picture. (Fig.3)
4. Replace the fuse ensuring that the fuse is connected properly.
5. Locate fuse #18 (Rear Defroster Relay Fuse) and remove it.
6. Place the black wire from the buzzer into the fuse slot so that it is making contact with the metal in the slot as shown in picture. (Fig. 4)
7. Replace the fuse ensuring that the fuse is connected properly.
8. Place double sided tape to the back of the buzzer and stick it to a near by surface so that it is not hanging. (I stuck it to the bottom of the fuse box it is sort of hard to see in the picture but look for the black stick on the bottom).(Fig. 5)
9. You are Finished! Replace the fuse panel.
Test: To test the new headlight buzzer turn your car to the on position and turn on your headlights. With the headlights still on turn the key off and the buzzer should sound. Now turn the lights off (with the key still off) and the buzzer should stop.
