Executive Staff
Dr. Desmond Hutchinson was installed as the second President of CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies (CABS) in July 2011. He was instrumental in the concept, development, implementation of the college. Dr. Hutchinson served as the Co-President and Provost of the college from 1995 until 2011. He earned a Master’s degree of Christian Education in 2000 and received an honorary Doctor of Theology degree in 2002 from the International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth (IAUGT).
Dr. Desmond Hutchinson is a Certified Industrial Engineering Technologist and possesses a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. He is a proven skilled administrator in both his religious and secular life. Dr. Hutchinson has taught at all CABS campuses and still continues to instruct at both the Ottawa and Montreal campuses.
Dr. Desmond Hutchinson currently serves as General Secretary for the Canada District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World; he served as the Assistant General Secretary for four years. He is an Assistant Pastor at CornerStone House of Refuge Apostolic Church (CHORAC) in Ottawa. Dr. Hutchinson has served as the Director of Administration and is a member of the Board of Trustees. He is also an ordained Elder of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
Dr. Barrington Smith is the Campus Director of the Western Ontario region of Cornerstone Academy of Biblical Studies. He has been serving the Academy as a member of the Board of Directors for over 12 years. With a passion for higher learning, Dr. Smith has obtained the following degrees: Doctorate in Divinity, Masters in Christian Education and a Bachelor of Science.
Dr. Barrington Smith is the founding Pastor of Kingdom Life Ministries. He is a Suffragan Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Canada District Council (PAW).
Dr. Smith by profession is an Accountant who has worked for the Re/max Organization as Financial Controller and Accounting Manager for over twenty years (20) years.
Ann-Marie Dias joined CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies Inc (CABS) in September 2000 as the Assistant to the Financial Manager. In January 2001 she became the Senior Financial Manager until present. Ann-Marie is also the Campus Director for the Ottawa and Montreal Campus’s. She has an extensive background in Accounting and is a Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) with the prestigious International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP) – The Institute of Financial Operation in Orlando, Florida.
Ann-Marie Dias is currently enrolled at CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies (CABS) where she is studying Christian Counseling at the Diploma II level. She has a desire to mentor and counsel others in the ways of God. She believes that each generation must excel above the last and that all things are possible and attainable if we only believe and trust in God.
Ann-Marie has been a member of CornerStone House of Refuge Church in Ottawa, Canada since 1997 where she has been very active in many ministerial positions.
Weston Richards serves the College as an Assistant Campus Director for the Western Region and is an instructor. He is a former and present student of Cornerstone Academy of Biblical Studies. His thirst for higher knowledge led him to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education at the International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth.
Weston Richards is currently enrolled in CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies in the Advanced Diploma program in Christian Education.
Weston Richards is also the Assistant Pastor at Kingdom Life Ministries, Mississauga, Ontario and is an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
