1. Do you offer long term box rental?

Yes!  For orders up to six weeks you can use our standard pricing and add the additional week charge to the three week rate.  For longer orders please call us for special long term pricing.  We help lots of customers who need to put their items in to long term storage or who are renovating their home and want to keep their goods safe.

2. How do I pay?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Certified Cheque or Cash. A credit card is required to hold all orders. Our drivers will collect the balance upon delivery by Visa, Mastercard, Cash or certified cheque.

3. What are your order procedures?
    1. You will need to have your old and new address on hand
    2. You will need a credit card to hold your reservation
    3. Once the order is placed you will receive a confirmation e-mail from CROCBOX
    4. You should receive a courtesy call confirming the date and time of delivery
    5. We deliver your boxes. You need to pay upon delivery
    6. You should receive a courtesy call confirming the date and time of pickup
    7. We pick up the CROCBOX boxes.

4. Can I keep my CROCBOX boxes longer?

Yes, please give us a call as soon as you know you may need them longer than expected. We can typically accommodate extension requests. Additional week charges will apply.

5. Does CROCBOX rent different-sized boxes?

No, CROCBOX boxes are one size dimension (24 "x 20"x 12 ") which holds 76 liters or 2.7 cubic feet. CROCBOX boxes are the perfect size to fit through a standard doorway.

6. What are the hours of operation?

Online ordering is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at crocbox.ca.

Phone support hours :
Monday – Friday  8:30am – 6 pm

Delivery and pickup service:
Monday – Saturday  9am – 7 pm

7. Is there a minimum order requirement?

Yes, the minimum order is 20 boxes.

8. How many days in advance I need to order my boxes?

We recommend that you reserve your boxes as soon as you can just in case all of our boxes are rented. Call us anyway and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

9. Do I have to be at home to receive my order or for your pick-up?

Yes, we need you to be home to receive and accept the order. You need to provide us with identification when signing the rental agreement. We count our boxes together when delivered and picked up.

When you are done with the we pick them up count them with you and sign off to ensure that proof of pick up was done.

10. Can I pick up and drop off the boxes myself?

No, Unfortunately we do not have a public warehouse

11. Do your prices include tax?

No, all prices are excluding tax and applicable taxes will be charged at the point of sale.

12. Is there a cancellation fee if decide that I don’t need the service?

Cancellation fees are as follows :
No cancellation fee if you have given us 7 days or more written notice.

20% of your total fee if you have given us less than 7 days notice.

We have this fee due to all of the internal labor costs and logistical costs that we spend to prep and load your order for delivery. Also we may have refused orders because our boxes were reserved for you.

13. Is there a rental deposit?

We do not take a rental deposit, unless you are paying by cheque. However any rented boxes that are not returned or that are damaged during your rental will be charged to your credit card automatically. For more details, please see:  Rental Agreement.

14. What happens if I damage or lose the rented box/boxes?

Your credit card will be charged for the replacement for any rental equipment that is damaged or lost during your rental. The replacement costs are as follows $30 per box + applicable taxes, and $100 for dollies

15. Can I return my rental early?

Yes, you can definitely call us to schedule an early pick-up for your rental equipment. Please call us at 1-855-CROCBOX or email us. Refunds may be issued less any restocking fees.

16. Is CROCBOX a moving company?

Unfortunately, the moving is up to you. We would be happy to refer a trustworthy moving company in your area.

17. How are we helping the environment by using CROCBOX?

Our CROCBOX moving boxes will be re-used hundreds of times before being recycled. Cardboard boxes are rarely re-used, most of them end up in our landfills and some of them are recycled. Although recycling is good it is much better to re-use because recycling still requires energy and water.

20. What are your delivery terms?

We provide curbside delivery, which means that should our drivers require to climb stairs with the boxes an extra charge of $25.00 may apply.

21. Can I buy your CROCBOXes?

Yes, you can call us directly at least one day before the scheduled pick up date to advise us and we will charge you the difference between your rental fee and the purchase price of the boxes. The price per CROCBOX is $30. We will process your payment with the credit card on file and email you the receipt.
