CrossTech Consulting Inc. was started in 1998 by Steve Giles.
Before starting CrossTech Consulting, Steve worked in the Process Automation department of the premier Canadian flat-rolled steel producer, and at the time of leaving, was the Process Automation System Architect.
Steve is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of
Ontario, Canada, a graduate of the University of Waterloo, Systems
Design Engineering, and a member of the the Association for Iron
and Steel Technology
CrossTech Consulting’s first engagements were in Year 2000
consulting, in both the steel and automotive parts industries,
involved in overall program design with particular focus in process
control, real-time control and embedded areas, and their integration
into information systems.
After that, CrossTech Consulting shifted into its primary
focus, providing high-level, strategic consulting and services, with
engagements in the steel, automotive and defense/marine engineering
sectors.
