How much do you charge for your cakes?
The price depends on the size of your order and the amount of detail required.
If there's a flavor not found on the list you have provided, will you still be willing to make the flavor?
If you don't find the flavor you are looking for listed on the site, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
How far in advance should I placed my cake order?
Any special occasion cakes with basic designs should be ordered at least 1 week before your occasion.
For tiered birthday cakes or cakes that require more detail, an order should be place at least 3 weeks prior to your event.
Wedding cake orders should be placed at least 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Do you take last minute orders?
Call to check for availability.
Can I make changes to my cake once the order has been placed?
Minor changes can be made up to 48 hours in advance. Major changes require 1 week notice. Changes on wedding cakes can be made up to 2 weeks prior to date of delivery or pick-up.
Do you require a deposit?
A 35% deposit is required on all cakes over $100.00. An order is not confirmed until deposit is made. The balance is due in full at time of delivery or pick-up. Cakes under $100.00 must be paid in full at time of order.
What is the cancellation policy?
If canceling an order for a wedding cake, we require at least 2 weeks notice from date of delivery or pick-up. For all other cakes, we require at least 1 week notice from date of pick-up.
If orders are cancelled after the allotted time, all deposits made towards the cake are non-refundable.
How far ahead should I make my wedding cake consultation?
Wedding consultations should be booked at least 2-3 months before your big day; the earlier the better. When you come in for the consultation, I will answer all your questions. Please remember to bring swatch of material, pictures and ideas of what you want your cake to look like.
If you are unable to keep your consultation appointment, please do call and let me know so that I may reschedule for a more suitable time.
Do you make "fake" cake layers?
Yes, I make fake (Styrofoam) cake layers.
Do you deliver?
Yes, there is a delivery charge of $25.00 - $75.00. This fee includes the set up of the cake at the venue of the event.
Do you provide cake stands or accessories?
Cake stands and accessories can be provided granted that I have them in stock. I do not charge a rental fee, however I do charge a damage deposit. This deposit will be returned in full once all the accessories are returned in the condition they were first given in.
