Ahmedabad, 16 November 2012
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be seen simultaneously in several cities addressing rallies in 3D virtual reality format.
This was announced today by BJP national vice president Shri Purushottam Rupala in a Gujarati new year get together function for media persons in Amdavad in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha Shri Arun Jaitley, and Gujarat BJP president Shri RC Faldu.
“To start with we have organized four election rallies in four major cities across Gujarat; Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Rajkot. Shri Modi will address the rally physically at one place, but he will be presented live at the public meeting venues in four cities through 3D technology. While initially we are using this technology on Sunday, 18th November for the rallies in four cities, later Shri Modi will address more rallies throughout the state using this technology,” Shri Rupala said adding that the voice and picture quality will be so real that people attending the rallies would feel that Narendra Modi was physically present at the venue.
“Generally you need to wear glasses to watch 3D video, but here you will not need any glasses,” Rupala further added.
Speaking on this occasion, leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha Shri Arun Jaitley said that this technology will be used for the first time in the Indian political arena.
