Meet Dr. Mary Anne New

Dr. New has been working as a general dentist in the Burlington community since 2006 and truly loves it! She graduated with distinction as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in 2005. Following this, she moved to Edmonton to complete a general practice residency at the University of Alberta. During this program Dr. New learned advanced skills in oral surgery and sedation. She also became comfortable treating both medically compromised and severely anxious patients.

Dr. New practices a wide scope of dentistry but has special interest in surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extractions and implants. She also has additional training in nitrous-oxide, oral and intravenous sedation to help her patients feel more comfortable during any type of dental treatment.

Dr. New’s genuine caring personality and gentle touch are why her patients love her. She truly enjoys forming long-term relationships with her patients and helping them in any way she can. Dr. New is dedicated to providing her patients with the best knowledge and latest technology to make their visit comfortable and relaxing.

In her spare time Dr. New enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. They love to travel and go on hikes together. She looks forward to meeting you and your family at the office soon!

Meet Dr. Linda Dang

Dr. Linda Dang is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Doctor of Dental Surgery Program. She takes special interest in root canal therapy, complicated surgical extractions, including wisdom teeth extractions and can provide conscious moderate sedation to both children and adults. Dr. Dang also provides dental treatment for implants, cosmetic restorative dentistry, and Invisalign. She takes a variety of continuing education courses annually to stay current in her practice and is an active member in both the Ontario Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Dang’s friendly and kind demeanor makes her patients feel comfortable.

Dr. Kristen Brandao, D.D.S

Dr. Kristen Brandao is excited to join the Dentistry on Brant team and to serve the Burlington community. Dr. Brandao completed both her Bachelor and Masters degrees at Western University before graduating from The University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Brandao is gentle, knowledgeable and highly proficient. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Dr. Brandao is a member of the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. She resides in Burlington with her husband and daughter. When not in the office, Dr. Brandao enjoys playing soccer, attending concerts and traveling.

Melissa, Office Manager

Born and raised in Hamilton, Melissa graduated from Dental Assisting in March 2003. Melissa has been a Certified Level II chairside assistant for 16 years and Office Manager at Dentistry on Brant since November 2017.
Melissa has been an active member with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association since January 2003 and feels it is important to maintain this certification to stay current with the changes within the profession.
When Melissa is not working, she spends quality time with her husband and two children. Melissa’s positive attitude is very contagious, everyone around her can feel it!

Gabrijela, Registered Dental hygienist

Gabrijela, “Gabby” is a graduate of Southern Ontario Dental College and has been part of Dentistry on Brant’s team since 2016. Prior to her dental hygiene career, Gabrijela was a Dental Assistant for 12 years. She enjoys building a strong bond with her clients and helping them better their health. Gabrijela is a busy wife and mom of two teenagers. She enjoys trying new recipes and spending time with family and friends.

Paula, Dental Receptionist

Paula has been a member of Dentistry on Brant’s administrative staff since February 2014. Paula takes great pride in providing excellent customer service to the many patients she has grown to know over the years.
Paula is the happy and friendly face that greets you as you enter the office who is happy to help you with all of your scheduling needs and insurance questions.
Born and raised in Burlington, Paula is the proud mother of Nikki and Araron. Her favorite pastime is being at the cottage with her family, friends and two dogs, Roxy and Gypsy.

Sarah, Certified Level II Dental Assistant

Sarah, Certified level II Dental Assistant Sarah recently joined the team at Dentistry on Brant as one of our chairside Dental Assistants. Sarah graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant at George Brown College in 2013. Sarah takes great pride in her career and is the perfect edition to our team. On her spare time Sarah loves spending time on the ranch with her horse, Kyanna.

Christa, Registered Dental Hygienist

Christa graduated George Brown College in 2009, celebrating 10 years as a RDH. Christa takes pride in educating her patients about their oral health and celebrates the progress they made together. In her spare time, Christa likes to travel, enjoys the out doors and spending time with her dog.

Amanda, Certified Dental Assistant/ Receptionist

Amanda graduated from the National Academy of Health and Business with a diploma in Chairside Dental Assisting in 2015. Amanda completed her Co-op placement with Dentistry on Brant and has been a part of the team since. Amanda has a passion for learning as much as possible when it comes to dentistry and loves learning and growing with the team at Dentistry on Brant.
Amanda can be found in the operatory assisting the dentist, or you may hear her friendly voice on the phone, as she is part of the administrative team as well.
When Amanda is not at the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, seeing friends, NETFLIX, and planning her upcoming wedding.
