Who I am

 

Hi! I'm Daniella and I like to make things look pretty. Well, actually....I do a lot more than that. I strive to create visually engaging pieces that are responsive, have amazing usabilty and grab the user's attention.

What I do

 

I'm an artist, visual designer and front end web designer with over 7 years experience in the graphic design and web industry.

I currently work as a Senior Web Designer for Canadian Tire Corporation, based in Toronto, Ontario.

My History

 
1980
I was born!
1994
Won my first Art award and decided this was the direction I wanted to head in life.
1999
Began my degree at the University of Western Ontario for Film, then switching after first year to Visual Arts. Courses included Media Development, Painting, Drawing and Art History.
2003
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts and then decided to pursue the Media portion of my education further by attending Sheridan College for the 1 year post grad Certificate in Interactive Multimedia. This course was intense and the most valuable education of my life to date. Classes included the Adobe Creative Suite, HTML & CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, and Project Management.
2004
I decided to take a bit of time off before entering the workforce and travelled the world for several months visiting places such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Australia, Fiji, Spain, Italy and Austria.
2005
I began working at Canadian Tire Corporation as an eLearning Graphic Designer. I quickly moved onto being a Web Designer.
2012
I was promoted to Senior Web Designer at Canadian Tire Corporation.
