2005 - MINI Cooper S JCW (as seen at the 2006 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto) is the project of Octane Motorsport's Alain Lauziere and was made from the chassis up at Simone Performance Imports. Performance improvements were added by Lauziere, Simone and the rest of the team with focus on suspension and handling. What seemed like a long process, the MINI was complete and ran it's first race at the 2005 Labour Day Grand Prix at Mosport, placing an amazing 4th in class for the event. Not only did the car impress on-track, it impressed during an on-screen segment of the popular Speed Channel Sports Car Revolution.

2004 - Hyundai Tiburon racing in the Ontario Regional Series. Dividing the series between Mosport and Shannonville created a competitive driver's series that was exciting to watch. The Tiburon team, led by driver Jeff Lorriman started the season with a wet win at Mosport and eventually finished 2nd in class for the series.

2003 - Nissan Sentra Series Technical Scrutineer and Team member

1999-2002 Nissan Maxima racing in Motorola Cup/Grand Am Cup in the Grand Touring Class. Venues raced: Toronto Molson Indy, Mosport, Trois Rivieres and Daytona. Vic was invited to prepare the 2000 Maxima for the Motorola cup as a result of his reputation as one of the top Nissan performance technicians in Ontario, with Nissan Canada. To re-create the family car Maxima into a race, he worked with drivers Jeff Lorriman (now seen on Speed Channel's "Sports Car Revolution"), Pierre Mandeville (leading racing instructor in Ontario and Quebec), and fellow racing technicians Mark Norris, Bob Kawasaki, Ed Nicholson, Eric Mandeville and Al and Mary Ayrs. The Maxima's inaugural race was at the Toronto Molson Indy in the summer of 1999, but due to a malfunction in one of the drive shafts the car was unable to complete the race. Greater success was seen in its next race at the world famous Mosport Raceway. The Maxima performed well and ran 8th in its class of 20 cars. As a support race for the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona, the Maxima again performed well and placed 7th in class. The most memorable experience for Vic was being able to compete at the legendary Daytona Speedway in Florida and where he met NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt senior, two weeks before his fatal crash during the Daytona 500.
