Engineering Simulations Inc.

History

Engineering Simulations started in 1994, specializing in finite element analysis and ASME Code compliance for the petrochemical, oil & gas industries. Engineering Simulations incorporated in 2001, and serves all sectors of industry, including nuclear, hydro, manufacturing, and electronics.

Mr. James Garroni is a Professional Mechanical Engineer, registered in the Province of Manitoba. He has over 25 years experience in numerical analysis and finite element techniques, using commercial codes such as:

ANSYS, MARC, FLOTRAN, PORFLOW

Mr. Garroni worked nineteen years in the Canadian nuclear industry as a senior scientist, performing structural and heat transfer analyses, developing numerical tools for analyzing groundwater flow and contaminant transport, and managing the decommissioning of the second largest nuclear research site in Canada. He also worked 5 years for a major Canadian engineering consulting firm, providing finite element services and technical support for ANSYS users in Western Canada.

Mr. Garroni is now dedicated full time with ESI, providing finite element stress and heat transfer analysis services. Since 1994, ESI has performed over 300 independant analyses for more than 40 companies in Canada and the United States. Our analyses have helped license pressure vessels in virtually all major petro-chemical, oil and gas facilities in Alberta, especially in the oil-sands.
