Q -Will you accept a photocopy of the ownership?
A - You must supply the Recycler with the original ownership. A photocopy of the ownership will not be accepted.
Q - Can you pick up a vehicle at a customer residence?
A - The recycler will only pickup a vehicle at the dealership as directed by GM. However, please contact the ARC call centre should you have a special vehicle pick up request, and ARC will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Q - Can we drop off a vehicle at an authorized ARC Recycler?
Yes, a dealer may drop off a vehicle at an authorized ARC Recycler.
To initiate this request, select the “Dealer drops off vehicle at an Authorized ARC Recycler” option on the online submission form under the “Vehicle acquisition method” section.
Upon selecting this request, the following message will appear:
You have selected the Drop off option. This option requires you to drop the vehicle off at an Authorized ARC Recycler. Please indicate the ARC Authorized Recycler of choice in the comments section below. If no preference with the assigned Recycler, please indicate “No preference” in the comments section. An ARC Recycler (Preferred as requested or ARC assigned) will follow-up with you within the service standards schedule or within 2 business days preceding your selected future available date.

A call to the ARC call centre following your online submission is recommended to ensure proper processing of this special request.
Q - Can we remove or replace parts from the vehicle before it is picked up?
The vehicle must be complete with no parts missing, replaced or removed.
Q - Can the Recycler refuse to pick a vehicle up?
A - The Recycler may refuse to pick up if it does not meet the vehicle eligibility requirements. Please refer to the Checklist and Help pages of this website for the vehicle eligibility requirements.
Q - How long will it take for the vehicle to be picked up?
The ARC Call centre will allocate vehicles within one (1) business day of receiving the online form containing accurate and complete information. The authorized recycler will contact the dealer within two (2) business days of receiving the allocation to make arrangement to remove a vehicle. The authorized recycler will remove a vehicle within five (5) business days of making contact with the dealer. Inclement weather, vehicle not available, pre-arranged removals outside of the norm are not included.
