Insaniquarium is a highly addictive game where you grow and raise a collection of fish. Keep them well-fed, and they will reward you with riches. Fail to feed them, and they will perish. All this, and seafood-loving space aliens too!
How to play ::
You start the game with 2 fish in your tank. Click on the aquarium to drop some fish food. Keep the fish fed, or they will starve to death. You'll notice the fish only eat when they're hungry.
After a fish has eaten for awhile, it will grow in size. Medium-sized guppies drop silver coins, which give you 15 dollars when clicked on. Large-sized guppies drop gold coins that give you 30 dollars when clicked.
Once you have saved up some money, you can purchase some of the upgrades on the top of the screen. Here is a list of the upgrades and what they do:
Buy guppy :: adds a small-sized guppy to the tank, which will grow into a medium-sized guppy after feeding. The more medium and large guppies you have in the tank, the more money you can earn.
Upgrade food :: upgrades the quality of your fish food. Upgraded food will keep your fish full longer, and help your fish grow faster.
Multiple food :: allows you to drop more than one piece of food at a time. Each time this upgrade is purchased, it allows you to drop an extra piece of food.
Buy carnivore :: adds a carnivore to the tank. Carnivores refuse to eat fish food. So how can you keep them fed?
Upgrade weapon :: upgrades the power level of your weapon. The higher the power level, the less shots it takes to kill an enemy.
Buy egg piece :: buys you an egg piece. Once you have collected 3 of these, an egg will hatch and a “pet” will be added to your collection. (see below for more on “pets”)
Every once in awhile, an enemy will appear and attempt to eat your fish. You can defend your fish by shooting at the enemy. Click on the aquarium after the enemy appears to fire a shot. Depending on where the enemy is hit, he will be deflected in the other direction. For instance, if you hit the enemy on the left, he will be deflected toward the right. After the enemy has been hit enough times, he will die, and drop a diamond as a reward.
Once you buy 3 egg pieces, a “pet” will hatch. These are added to your permanent collection, and are available for use the next time you play. Here are some of the pets that are currently available:
ITCHY the Swordfish :: helps you by attacking enemies when they appear.
STINKY the Snail :: helps you by roaming around the bottom of your tank, catching any coins that you miss.
NEKO the Oyster :: every once in awhile, Neko will reveal a pearl, which you can click on and earn 200 dollars.
PREGO the Momma Fish :: gives birth to a baby guppy once in a while.
VERT the Skeleton :: drops gold just like a large-sized guppy, yet you don't need to feed it.
When you obtain 5 pets, a whole new fishtank will be unlocked, complete with its own set of upgrades and pets!
Future of Insaniquarium ::
In the upcoming months, the game will be getting a more polished look and feel as we update the graphics and animations. There will be plenty of zany animations/sounds added to the pets, fish, and enemies, to keep you entertained while you play the game.

Troubleshooting ::
Why won't my pets save?
Insaniquarium stores the pets you've attained as a cookie in your web browser, allowing you to close your browser and come back to find the same pets later. In order to save the pets you've hatched, you MUST have cookies enabled in your browser. If you have cookies enabled yet still cannot save your pets, try launching the game from here. (the window will be blank, but it IS loading, so please be patient)
