About VIP Fishing Charters:

VIPfishing charters is located in Sooke, south-west Vancouver Island, British Columbia, approximately 30 minutes west of Victoria. VIPfishing Charter is owner-operated from a private waterfront property with a private dock on the Sooke Harbour. For an incredible fishing adventure we invite you to come and join us here in Sooke.

Your fishing adventure includes the following:

The Boat

VIPfishing Charters has a 25 foot Hourston Glasscraft with an enclosed stand-up cabin. It is equipped with a full galley (stove, fridge, sink), private head (toilet) in the V-Berth, sleeping area, and an Espar Heater to keep you warm. Hourston Glasscraft are very comfortable and seaworthy boats, designed for the west coast -- they are used by the Coast Guard because of their reliability and safety. Our boat is fully insured for commercial and marine use.

This vessel is powered by a Volvo Penta 8 cylinder motor with dual propellers for a powerful and smooth ride. A quiet, environmentally friendlier 9.9 hp 4 stroke Yamaha kicker is used while fishing.

For your safety and enjoyment, our vessel is Transport Canada Inspected and equipped with the latest technology: GPS, radar, 2 VHF radios, 1 CB radio, 1 cell phone, 3 sounders, radio/CD player, and 3 mounted down riggers and 2 spares.

This boat can accommodate 4 guests comfortably.

Rates and Policies

• Prices include applicable taxes (GST/HST)
• Prices in Canadian Dollars
• Maximum 4 guest per charter
• Price is for the whole boat, not per person
• 50% deposit required at time of booking by cash, cheque or money order, with the balance is due 2 weeks before the date of fishing trip by cash or money order. The deposit is refundable if you cancel your trip no later than 30 days before date of departure. The deposit is not refundable if you cancel the trip less then 30 days from departure date. The non-refundable deposit can be used towards another booking for up to 12 months from cancellation.
• Our policy is safety first. The captain reserves the right to cancel trips if he deems the weather is unsafe or if other safety issues arise. As well the captain can and will refuse guests from boarding the vessel if the guest in any way threatens the safety of the vessel or its guests.
