Music Together® has developed nine non-sequential song collections, each characterized by its own graphic, color, and instrument. These collections each include a recording and songbook and are designed to be used one collection per semester.  Each semester introduces a new collection—including CD & songbook—so families can begin Music Together® classes at any time with any collection.

 

The music is pitched in just the right range for children’s voices and includes songs, rhythmic chants, tonal and rhythm patterns, and instrumental play-alongs, all in a rich variety of tonalities and meters. Original songs and arrangements by the program coauthors make these collections especially unique. Outstanding instrumentalists play a variety of instruments, such as guitar, bass, flutes, keyboards, and percussion. And all of the songs are suitable for mixed-age groups, perfect for families with children of different ages.

 

Music Together’s song collections are research-based and artistically conceived and produced. They are also classroom- and family-tested. Since 1987, the feedback of hundreds of teachers and thousands of families has been incorporated into these constantly evolving materials.  Enjoy!!!

 

Rhythm Kids® Online

Get ready to sing, dance, drum, and jam along with us...right from home! Our Rhythm Kids® Online classes bring the fun and excitement of our in person classes right to you and your children, wherever you may be.

Babies

This class is for babies up to 14 months of age. (Book the class that works best for your little one's nap time!)

 MIXED AGE

MIXED AGE Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

 Rhythm Kids® 1

Classes are for children ages 4 - 7 and include:

  • weekly 45-minute classes

  • Animal Collection Songbook and download code each semester

  • Access to online drum-play videos and other material

  • Level I classes are intended as a parent-child class. Drop-off may be considered at the discretion of the classroom instructor.

Drums will be provided for the class each week, but if you’d like your child to have a drum to play with at home please check out the selection at Empire Music online or Long and McQuade. 

 

 Music Together Online
  • One to two 30-minute interactive virtual classes via Zoom, every week with your beloved teacher. Instead of going to your class once a week, your class will come to you, via computer, tablet or phone. Class size is limited.
  • Addtional “Drop in” Zoom Live classes, in any of the classes that have space available. 
  • Song collection music (beautiful songbook including download code) mailed  to you.
 Outdoor Green Space

Classes Held Outdoors 

45-minute class following social distancing protocols. Please bring your own instruments (homemade shakers, sticks, drums and scarves are great!) Class size is limited.
