Shoegazers wake up! Fire Hydrant provides an innovative take on the early 90's movement of British rockers. By combining swirling guitars and waves of distortion with an undeniable rock assault, they have managed to forge a sound that is both celestial and explosive.

Initially emerging in 2005, Fire Hydrant has developed a fierce following over the past three years. Independently released debut record Better Late Than Never (2006) was met with critical acclaim from numerous Toronto zines and charted on campus stations all over Canada.

No strangers to the Toronto music scene, the quartet has played countless shows around the city and has shared the stage with the likes of Born Ruffians, The Postage Stamps, Uncut and Tele.

Fire Hydrant has recently released a limited run of their third release: the five song EP Daydreams and they are furthering themselves as one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands in the city.
