Founded in 2013, Haven Home Design is an Architectural Design + Drafting business specializing in residential projects ranging from custom new homes to additions and renovations. We have proudly worked with clients, builders, engineers and interior designers throughout Saskatchewan and beyond. Working with you directly from the start is important to create a home plan design that compliments your life and the way you live it.

Hi, I’m Cassie!

I am an Architectural Technologist, Farmer’s Wife, and Mom to two girls.

As a kid I spent countless hours making house plans out of little brick toys on my grandparent’s floor.  In school I had the same love for drawing house plans in drafting class.  I don’t know why, but I’ve always loved it.  This led me to the path I am on today.

After completing my formal training in 2009 as an Architectural Building Technologist, I worked as a roof truss designer. I then moved on to working as an Architectural Technologist with a well-known home design company in Regina.  My experiences in both positions were great (I even designed a Hospital Lottery Home!), and I’ve met a ton of great people along the way.  But like many of us in rural Saskatchewan know, having a young family, plus being busy on the farm can have its challenges, and commuting to the city for life wasn’t going to be one of them! 

In 2013 I followed my dream and founded Haven Home Design.  I have never looked back.  Since starting my business, I have had the pleasure of working with close to 200 fantastic clients, builders, engineers, and interior designers across this great province.  I have designed many family homes, cottages at the lake, retirement homes and countless additions and renovations.

My experience as an Architectural Technologist, as well as roof truss designer has proven to be invaluable.  I have become known as a designer who not only creates beautiful homes that flow, but also home plans that are detailed and precise, making the construction process run efficiently.  If you are thinking of a new build, or adding on to what you already have, feel free to contact me.  I would love to hear more about your project!
