About

The Internet is just indispensable in getting any required information these days. The sources are almost endless. The arsenal of career management websites is also pretty extensive.

Anyhow, having done a rigorous research we found that most of those websites either serve as an advertisement of companies providing career consulting or are focused only on restricted areas of human resources. Moreover, the information on those sites is not always free.

We decided to talk about different aspects of our every day work life, starting from the job search process to the problems that we face in the workplace, analyze them, and think about possible solutions that sometimes might differ from a conventional viewpoint. HR Journal is supposed to fulfill a function of a log that encompasses experience of people who both work in HR and who don’t, but are simply concerned about certain situations at their work. Having said that, it’s obvious why we chose the word “journal” for our title.

In accordance with Merriam-Webster dictionary the word “journal” derived from Anglo-French “jurnal”, meaning “a record of experiences, ideas, or reflections kept regularly for private use or a periodical dealing especially with matters of current interest”. Work normally taking a huge part of our life cannot help but be of interest to all of us.

Above all, content of the site is reinforced by practical experience and academic knowledge and is a result of professional research conducted by HR Specialists.

HR Journal is a knowledge centre featured by the following characteristics:

  • free information – human resources knowledge for everyone!
  • wide range of topics discussed
  • user-friendliness of the site
  • opportunity for two-way communication – Your constructive opinion matters and is kindly appreciated!
