Alan HandelPresident, Executive ProducerAlan is one of Canada’s leading producers of factual television and an award-winning documentary filmmaker.
Alan’s films and programs have been broadcast on CBC, SRC, CTV, Global Television, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, History Channel, BBC, ITV, Channel Four, Five, ARTE, ZDF and other networks.
From 1974 to 1985 Alan worked at the CBC. He started at CBC Radio where he was the Quebec story editor of This Country in the Morning. Then Alan became a Television Producer working on The Journal, The Fifth Estate, Man Alive and many documentary specials. Alan was the Senior Producer of CBC Television Current Affairs in Quebec.
In 1985 after a wonderful twelve years at at the CBC Alan left and founded Handel Productions.
