The problem lies with @SkyHelpTeam and @SkyHelpIreland all being outsourced. Eir were forced to roll that back. #skyireland

@trsaanderson @eir why are texts from O2 in the uk not being received by eircom. Apparently there's a problem with the texts hitting the eir server. Is this something that Eir can investigate. O2 said its not a problem their end , o2 can receive texts from Eir.

Like going back in time, Netflix buffering, slow internet, had to stop anybody else using the internet in order to look at a movie. Never again. Shocking

@Hendo_1337 @eir We followed that step as well and where able to proof that the SIM works fine, but that the router appears to be broken as it simply cannot produce a WiFi signal with a throughput of more than 0.2mb. This finding was immediately shared with the support

@ciaranoshea82 My @eir internet kept dropping, I noted every time it dropped and called them. After a few months I sent them a registered letter and emailed a copy too, stating that due to the service failing to meet minimum standards, that The contract was voided. @rteliveline @joeliveline

@Irene007Irene @rtenews @spekofthedevil I was a customer of Eir for decades on the basis that it was a pro Union Company. When I had a problem, I realised that the "communications" company couldn't provide a human with whom I could communicate, I changed providers.

@PlayoftheJackal @rtenews Cost/Ben of 7,500 charge? EIR will laugh at 7,500 fine, most probably a tiny fraction of what they saved in not dealing with these issues. Is this a deterrent or an encouragement?

@BothaBoy @chewbertie69 @IrishTimes I suffered a serious bereavement a few yrs ago & logged > 28 hrs trying to get issue handled by Eir. Why would I wait 28 hours & log it? Typically 40-60 min to be answered but you would be switched around until dropped after hr or two with no conclusion. Easy get to 28 hrs!?

@AilbheBosca1 On threat of legal action, the debt collectors wiped it immediately. I had called Eir 23 times to resolve it before it got to a collector. They refused to fix their error. No solution. Nobody taking ownership. @eir is not just bad at customer service, it is abusive.

@BernardJoyce @adrianweckler Been months trying to get issue resolved with @eircare Broadband, November to March, even after escalating to @comreg reality is, it's unregulated. ComReg can't or won't do mych either.Went with @ThreeCare in the end.

@olddiesel @JohnyMcGuinness @adrianweckler While Eir is infamous for poor service. The court case isn't about whats happening in Eir today but what was found during investigation. There's undoubtedly a lag time between the start of an investigation to the case coming to court. Part of this lag time 1/2

@DrMaryRogan @rteliveline the problem with Eir and other SPs is access to their so called helplines . The in adequate number of staff running those help lines are helpful and polite, but there just aren't enough of them. They could up their game given th gross profits n provide more staff

@IrisOConnor @rteliveline why is a contract - such as with Eir - one-sided only? Customers have to pay a penalty if they decide to leave before the contract is up but the company can up prices whenever they want. Yet customers have no right to leave a company in case of bad service etc
