Working in a large outdoor studio by the ocean, Kelly’s works are about exploring line and marks. Working freely and powerfully with brooms, brushes and scrapers on large unstretched raw pieces of canvas. Capturing emotion and energy in simplified line, creating pieces as large as 7 feet.

Kelly Rogers is a graduate of the Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver, she works in Canada in Toronto and in Comox on Vancouver Island.
