COVERAGE OF WARRANTY

This warranty is effective on all cabinets provided by Kitchen and Beyond Corp. All cabinets purchased from Kitchen and Beyond are warranted to the original purchasing consumer for 1 year from the date of the original purchase or as long as the original purchasing consumer owns the home, whichever is less, against avoidable and unnatural defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use. Any use of Kitchen and Beyond Corp. products other than residential are not covered under this warranty. This warranty is non transferable.

This warranty represent the exclusive resolution against kitchen and beyond for all defects, damages and workmanship. There are no implied warranties extending beyond the terms of this warranty. Kitchen and Beyond shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. It is possible that one or more of the limitations and exclusions in this warranty may not apply to you.

This warranty does not cover improper installation of cabinets, cabinetwork drawer slides or hinges, or any product used or installed in connection with cabinets, such as gas or electric appliances, countertops, or plumbing fixtures. This warranty does not cover damage caused by transportation, storage exposure to moisture or excessive temperatures heat or cold, or to defects arising from misuse, neglect accidents, alterations, improper use or failure to maintain properly. No installer’ retailer’ distributor’ agent or employee of Kitchen and Beyond has the authority to alter the obligations or limitations in this warranty.

The following are the characteristics of the wood and finishes on the cabinets you are about to purchase. Kitchen and Beyond will not be held responsible for these variations in your cabinetry.

• Wood characteristics naturally occur in color, grain, mineral streaks, pinholes and knots, these are not considered defects. Color variations in cabinets are also a natural occurrence due to species, Age, character of cabinets, and exposure to UV light and sunlight. For these reasons new and /or replacement cabinets may not match display samples and/or existing cabinets. Such variations and changes are not considered defects.
• Glazed finishes by character is an uneven finish. Some edges and profiles will have heavier hand up than others and glazing may vary from cabinet to cabinet door to drawer and item to item. This may result in overall color variations but is not considered a defect.
• Painted finishes can be affected by the natural expansion and contraction movements of wood as it adjusts to humidity and temperature conditions. Finish stress lines may become visible on painted cabinets especially at joints. Any such occurrence is not considered a defect.

Warranty performance

If a defect does occur within the terms and conditions of this warranty such defective part will be repaired or replaced by Kitchen and Beyond at its sole discretion. Kitchen and Beyond will not provide or pay for the cost of removal of defective product, transportation of defective, repaired or replaced product or installation of repaired or replaced product. If a warranty claim has been filed when this item is discontinued or becomes unavailable, Kitchen and Beyond reserves the right to replace the item with the most similar item available at that time. Kitchen and Beyond may require a sales rep to view the item being claimed before honoring this warranty.
