Who we are
Jean-Philippe Laroche, President
I have been working in the field of Java development since 1998 and as a freelance IT consultant since 2001.
Most of my work involves design, development and evolution of large Java enterprise applications for major companies, mostly in the banking industry. This helped me gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the challenges around large scale Java enterprise applications, from a design, implementation and deployment perspective.
Lately I have been involved in integrating Oracle Coherence product in J2EE/JEE architecture to improve availability and scalability, while still keeping an eye on the latest evolutions of JEE.
My goal is to continue mastering Java enterprise development and architecture while also actively broadening my knowledge of enterprise architecture.
I detain a bachelor degree in Computer Science, a bachelor degree in Business Administration and a minor in Philosophy, all from the University of Montreal.
