The Western Quebec School Board is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Lamoureux will become Assistant Director General, effective immediately. He replaces Mr. Colin O’Shea who is beginning a progressive retirement and moves to the post of Director of Buildings, Material Resources, and Transportation. He will also act as consultant to the Director General.

School Tax Invoicing
Invoices for the taxation period of July 1st, 2009 to June 30th, 2010 will be mailed on August 14th, 2009 and will be due on September 14th, 2009.
The Val-d’Or tax office situated at 799, 1ère Avenue in Val-d’Or was closed on October 31, 2008 and the Pontiac Tax Office situated at 89 Centre Street in Shawville was closed on March 1, 2009.
