INSIDE TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST

The Company:

A dynamic, leading company in the supply of continuous emission monitoring systems and products for process analytics is growing aggressively and has a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Specialist. Our customers cover the power generation sector and industrial groups including pulp and paper, mining and minerals, petrochemical, refining and incineration among others. The product lines include a variety of gas analyzers, sampling system components and process analyzers such as gas chromatographs and FTIR analyzers. The company specializes in systems integration.

 

The Position:

The successful candidate will work closely with new and existing customers to identify and satisfy their needs. The incumbent will:

· Bring a high degree of responsibility, creativity, vision, and accountability to this role.

· Be an active member of the sales team, helping to drive a culture of customer focus, professionalism, teamwork and creativity.

· Build relationships with clients and potential clients by responding to queries and requests, and build customer rapport by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.

· Contribute to the development of an overall sales and marketing plan for the entire product line, consistent with the strategic plan and goals of the Company.

· Provide information and feedback, recommend options and courses of action.

· Increase customer retention level through consistent follow up.

· Prepare quotations.

· Prepare detailed technical proposals.

· Enter customer purchase orders and ensure jobs (orders) are promptly processed.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.

· Must demonstrate strong verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence external and internal customers at all levels.

· Demonstrates a strong team outlook and contributes effectively to team efforts.

· Highly proficient in the MS Office software family.

· Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Electronics or Instrumentation is preferred.

· Experience with CRM software an asset.

· Experience in process and environmental analytical instrument sales or inside sales is an asset.
