Complete closure of the Mercier Bridge Friday night

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed that the Minist�re des Transports will proceed with the complete closure of the Mercier Bridge from Friday, July 22nd at 10pm until Saturday, July 23rd at noon.

The closure is required for the installation of bollards which will facilitate traffic circulation management. Other works will also be performed during the closure, including cleaning work, the general inspection of the downstream structure and the drilling of the downstream structure of the Monette Bridge located in LaSalle.

The Minist�re des Transports is aware of the constraints that this closure may cause and is doing everything possible to mitigate the impacts on traffic.

Reminder: The following traffic configuration schedule has been put in place following the complete closure of the Kahnaw�:ke-bound bridge in June:

�    Weekdays
        o    5am to 9am - two lanes to Montreal-bound.
        o    9:45am to 2:15pm - one lane each direction.
        o    3pm to 7pm - two lanes to Kahnaw�:ke-bound.
        o    7:45pm to 4:15am - one lane each direction.

�    Weekends & Holidays
        o    One lane each direction

Please note, during direction changes both available lanes will be completely closed.
