Florida Marlins and Toronto Blue Jays Reportedly Make Mega Trade

This tangentially affects the Mariners

In the sense that the Toronto Blue Jays will sometimes play the Seattle Mariners and the Florida Marlins will sometimes but less times play the Seattle Mariners, then those two teams trading players is news relating to the Mariners. More truthfully, there's just nothing team-related to publicly write about. So here's this! Fetishize over why the Mariners couldn't have been in Toronto's spot.

According to Twitter rumors from people who exist, or could exist, entirely in the internet the Blue Jays are getting Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, John Buck and Emilio Bonafacio from the Marlins. In exchange, the Blue Jays are sending Jake Marisnick, Henderson Alvarez, Justin Nicolino, Yunel Escobar, Adeiny Hechavarria and possibly more.

On the surface, this looks like a massive salary dump from the Marlins () and the Blue Jays are getting like 10 wins better for next year, making them a potentially legitimate contender in the AL East.
