About Lorica

The word Lorica is a Latin term.  It is derived from the armour that a knight wears.  It is also a term meaning, "a knight's service."  Just as a knight will serve his king and country with the highest level of dedication and loyalty, we at Lorica will serve you, our clients, with the highest level of dedication, loyalty and integrity.     

Lorica originally came about in 1998, as a partnership between two friends who had the idea of providing consulting services for small-to-medium sized businesses.  The emergence of the world wide web made it possible for the small business owner to have just as prominent a web presence as a multi-national corporation.  Lorica was spawned from the idea that corporate competition wasn't about big versus small, it was about fast versus slow, and the fundamental belief that corporate success starts and stops with people.

We believe in creating programs, inititatives and policies that work best for your organization.  Innovative programs lead to successful recruitment and retention, employee engagement and retention.  Innovative human resources programs create a level playing field for big and small organizations.
