Profile Systems Analyst

January 2005 to April 2008

  • The lead Profile application developer on the Electric Orange account development project. The product features online bill payment processing, electronic check requests, ATM and debit card processing, internal and external funds transfers via email authorizations, tiered interest rates, automatic overdraft transfers and online credit scoring via Equifax. The product currently has about $8 billion in assets and is growing by approximately $700 million per month.
  • Involved in all project life cycle phases - Requirements Gathering, Project Design, Project Estimation, Software Development, Unit Testing, Peer Review, Documentation, Training, QA Support, Implementation Support, 3rd Tier Production Support, Capacity Planning, Project Leadership, Performance Tuning.
  • Develop Profile, Mumps and DataQWIK code that's accurate, efficient, easy to read, documented and smart.

SCOTIABANK- Toronto, ON, Canada

Application Programmer– Profile v6.4 Conversion

February 2004 to January 2005

  • The goal of the project was to implement Sanchez’s Profile 6.4 banking system to service Scotiabank’s 700,000 Canadian mortgages. Profile operated on a UNIX/AIX platform at this client.
  • Responsibilities involved developing a variety of advanced DataQWIK reports, developing Profile account to G/L verification and correction tools, and being a mentor the skill development of Scotiabank’s three onsite Profile programmers.

RURAL INFORMATICA / CCA EUROPE CONSULTING – Lisbon, Portugal

Implementation Programmer – Profile v4.4 to 6.2 Upgrade

June 2001 to February 2002

  • Investigated and resolved (debugged) a wide variety of Profile/IBS upgrade/programming issues.
  • Retrofitted approximately 30 Profile/IBS pre-releases into customized Mumps code.
  • Developed training courses for Mumps Transaction Processing and Profile/IBS Dayend.
  • Worked to develop a utility to allow for the transfer of a user-defined subset of accounts or CIFs, and all their associated elements (history, CIFs, etc., and all their recursively linked elements) to a destination application directory or file.

ILCUTECH – Dublin, Ireland

Senior ISIS Implementation Specialist – Profile for Windows 6.2 Implementation

April 2000 to October 2000

  • Managed application directories of Profile for Windows and Profile/IBS as well as the movement of Profile and Mumps software between directories on a VMS platform.
  • Investigated Profile/IBS, DataQWIK and Mumps coding issues.
  • Installed Profile/IBS releases, Oracle table updates and Profile for Windows PowerBuilder builds.
  • Generally the sole on-site technical resource for the implementation team.
