Family Physicians – This program is accredited for Online Learning as follows:

This program has been accredited by The College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 5 Mainpro-M1 credits.

Module 1 and 2 are eligible for 1.5 Mainpro-M1 credits each. Module 3 and 4 are eligible for 1 Mainpro-M1 credits each.

Pharmacists – This program is accredited for Online Learning as follows:

This program has been accredited by The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy for up to 5.0 CEUs.

Module 1 and 2 are eligible for 1.5 CEU credit each. Module 3 and 4 are eligible for 1.0 CEU credit each. If all modules are completed, the pharmacist learner is eligible for a total of 5.0 CEUs. Pharmacist learners should print and save their certificate as their record of participation for each learning module.



How To Complete a Learning Module & Claim Credits:

Family Physicians and Pharmacists:

To claim Mainpro-M1 Online credits and CCCEP CEU credits for this online educational program, physician and pharmacist learners are required to register on this Website and to complete any or all of the learning modules.

To complete a module, the physician or pharmacist learner must complete the following steps:

  • Review and work through the module components: Complete the pre-test, review the slide set and the case studies
  • Finally, participate in the discussion forum and complete the post-test and program evaluation

Once the above steps are completed, the website automatically prompts learners to the "Module Index" page, from where they may download the certificate for the module(s) they have completed. Participants should Save/Print their certificate(s). The certificate is the record of participation in the learning module.

(Note: Pharmacists are not eligible for credits after failing the post-test evaluation twice)
