I offer results-focused, solutions-oriented information technology (IT) management, with the ability to plan, direct, and manage the activities and operations of all disciplines within an IT department. Proficient at championing change, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions, as well as providing the expertise to improve operational efficiency. Having more than 8 years experience implementing complex technology projects and managing the Canadian IT operations of a large international organization, I have the skills required to keep an IT environment running efficiently, optimized to minimize downtime, while also providing a secure continuous environment.

Skills and experience include: writing and implementing policies to maintain Sarbanes Oxley IT compliance; Managing client technical support services for more than 11 years; negotiating with, and managing third parties, such as enterprise software vendors, equipment vendors, software site licencors, and helpdesk outsourcers. By keeping current with technology trends, I am able to provide advice and guidance on options and new technology trends. I also offer 8 years of experience in architecture and infrastructure planning, optimizing asset management, and project management of system and application additons and revisions. I excel at budget development and administration, leadership, and designating efficient personnel assignments that allows the growth of technology professionals. While working with internal and external partners and clients, I strive to use outstanding communication skills to determine and respond to their needs, while forging effective relationships.
