Throughout her career, Michelle is known for her patience and enthusiasm, and has taught students of all ages from preschool to college.  Although suffering with arthritis for seven years due to neck and back injury, she strives with determination to devote herself in teaching career and in sharing her music passionately.  She moved back to Canada in the summer of 2000.  Since 2001, she has been a member of British Columbia Registered Music Teachers' Association and Canadian Federation of Music Teachers.  After acquiring residency in 2001, she resumed her music profession and continued her aspiration in teaching, performing, and accompanying.  She specializes in pedagogy, strengthening technique and enhancing musicality.  Within two years, she has made eight students win mostly first places in various music competitions.  These winners include those students who were previously informally trained in technique and musicality.  Yet all of these students won after a year of study.  Throughout the years, her students have been admitted to the universities with scholarships.  As her career mission, Michelle is passionate and committed in helping students achieve their goals and accomplish their dreams in the world of music.
