CLUB MEETING - WEDNESDAY APRIL 10, 2019 - 7:30PM

Northwestern Ontario Aviation Heritage Centre
905 Victoria Avenue East

Topics For Discussion: Field status for the upcoming 2019 season.

Memberships dues for 2019 will also be gratefully accepted.

Update Sunday August 02, 2015 / Great News!!!!

We've finalized a new flying location. The airstrip is laid out and first grass cut has taken place.
It will take a while for the strip itself to grow in but all in all we have a fantastic new location.
See "Directions to the Field" below.

Update Sunday June 07, 2015!

Our 15+ year association with Afortek/Emil David and the Highway 130 flying site has ended, effective immediately.
On Saturday June 6th, several of us attended the field and removed all club chattels from the site.

We are actively pursuing a new venue, and hope to have more information in the next few weeks

In the interim, the offer to fly at Lakehead Aeromodellers field on Highway 61 is still valid until such time
as we find a new venue. Proof of current MAAC or AMA is required.

Stay tuned!

Update Wednesday May 13, 2015!

We have just received a very kind and generous offer from Archie Gribben President of Lakehead Aeromodellers,
and the directorship of their club. They have offered to extend flying privileges to our club members
at their field on Highway 61 next to the ReCool Depot, until such time as the situation
at the Highway 130 field is resolved or another venue located. The only requirement is current MAAC or AMA membership.

On behalf of the North of Superior Flyers, thank you Archie and Lakehead Aero for your kind and generous offer.

Please Curtail Highway 130 Field Activities Until Further Notice!

As some of may have heard, our landlord has signed an agreement with
Lakehead University Forestry Department for exclusive use of the field.
We are working diligently to come up with a solution beneficial to all involved.
Stay tuned!

May 13, 2015 - Regular Club Meeting - Cancelled
