At this time we are expecting only a small group to participate in the full 28 day march. We are asking supporters to join us in Sicily around the dates of either of our two major commemorative ceremonies.
Canada Company has partnered with Explorica as the primary travel provider for Operation Husky 2013. As a leader in Canadian War History tours, Explorica’s immersive itineraries are designed to teach valuable lessons about the events that helped shape our nation, all while enjoying the many cultural benefits each destination has to offer
Since 2005, Explorica has been creating Canadian War History tour events to destinations in Hong Kong, Vimy Ridge, Ortona and the Netherlands that have given over 4,000 participants the opportunity to truly experience this unique part of their shared Canadian heritage.
Explorica is creating different travel packages to meet a variety of interests and budgets starting from just $2200 (plus taxes and surcharges). The customizable itineraries feature a selection of optional activities, including visits to historical Greek ruins, participating in a pizza making class or simply enjoying some downtime at the beach.
All itineraries include:
- Round trip airfare
- Hotel accommodation with private bathroom (based on double occupancy)
- Full European breakfast daily
- Most bus transportation while in Sicily
- Participation in the exclusive 70th anniversary commemorative ceremony in Agira
- Museo Dello Sbarco
