The Washington Square project in downtown Bellvue, WA USA is a strategic 1.4 million sq ft mixed use project being undertaken by key Seattle developer and owner Touchstone Corporation The vision for the project encompasses  three office towers and an Hotel, all linked with a specialty retail program and unique public realm. OptiProp is part of the Touchstone development team, being engaged from the early strategic stage where fundamental decisions need to be made as to establishing the Development Positioning, Strategy and optimal Program, ensuring this is incorporated into the design process, and then ramping into to the Development Planning to be contained in the Development Application, and then continuing into the final design and programming of the project. Brett Schafer has been personally leading this strategic engagement, bringing to bear his close knowledge of the Bellevue market coupled with his extensive track record of planning and delivering key mixed use projects in urban environments.
