ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Environmental, Health & Safety, Loss Control Policy             

POWER SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS LIMITED and the Construction Management Team in association with their Mining Operations, Consulting Engineers and Contractors wishes to provide a quality product at a fair price and within the time frames allowed.  At the same time, we wish to maintain a safe workplace to prevent hazards or conditions which could result in personal injury or illness, property damage or fire and security loss or impact on the environment.

We consider the Safety and Health of all employees to be the utmost importance in the efficient conduct of our business activities and believe that each and every employee has a shared responsibility in the application of this policy.  Our policy is to provide safe and healthy working conditions, to develop, maintain and promote safe and productive work practices in all aspects of our business and to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to our work.

To implement this policy, we include Safety and Health considerations as part of our activities.  We require that safe work practices and procedures be followed.  Where the need arises, information, training and protective equipment will be provided, so that the work can be carried out in a safe and productive manner.
We demand that each employee or worker; ensure their knowledge through training and information to follow safe work practices and procedures; wear or use the required protective equipment; comply with all government laws and regulations; and not expose themselves to, other workers or other assets of the Company to undue risk.  It is the responsibility of all workers, no matter their job, to take all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure that the workplace is safe.
