• Working with the CEO/COO on the strategic vision. This includes fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, provincial, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts;
• Providing the CEO/COO with new funding opportunities, operating budget and ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance with all contractual requirements. This includes:
  • Interpreting regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and contractual guidelines;
  • Ensuring that all government regulations and requirements are disseminated to the appropriate personnel;
  • Monitor regulatory compliance;
• Development and maintenance of systems of internal control to safeguard the financial assets of the organization and oversee federal awards and programs;
• Attending board and subcommittee meetings, including the audit/finance committee.
