The following are projects I was involved in 2004:
Blood Tribe Wind Project Wind power project currently under development at the Blood Tribe native reservation, just west of Lethbridge, Alberta. Involved in Project development, regulatory approval process, project management, supplier selection, layout design and more.
Britannia Mine small hydroelectric turbine Teaming up with Stantec Consulting and EPCOR to bid on water treatment facility at Britannia Mine just south of Squamish, BC. Part of the water treatment facility is to be powered by a small hydroelectric turbine. PB Powers involvement consisted of conceptual design, specifying equipment, selecting suppliers, obtaining quotes. This information was later used in a successful bid. The facility is currently going through detailed design process.
Taylor Wind Canadian Hydro Developers. Configuring SCADA reporting from the new Wind facility to AESO
Miscellaneous control systems support issues Canadian Hydro Developers. In line with our good working relationship with Canadian Hydro, PB Power is always involved in resolving control systems problems on the following hydro electric facilities:
- Pingston Creek 45MW
- Akolkolex 10MW
- Taylor Chute 12MW
- Waterton reservoir - 3MW
- St.Mary Reservoir 3MW
The issues range from communication with the transmission authority to IT problems and control hardware failures.
In all these projects, PB Power is dedicated to customer satisfaction. PB Power is gaining reputation of being able to resolve even the most hopeless of problems.
