What is 3D Printing?

3D Printing creates computer generated models into physical objects. The 3D Printing process uses different types of filaments, from Biodegradable Plastic PLA to ABS Plastic to Nylon. The filament is then heated and then melted into thin layers onto the working surface. After the base layer is created, filament is added to the second layer on so on. The end result is a physical object.

3D Printing has been used for quite some time now but has only recently come to light in the public eyes. The possibilities with 3D Printing are endless.
