RW Communications is an authorized dealer for Sigtronics intercoms.
We can also build Bluetooth, cell and wireless headset interfaces to integrate with new or existing communications systems.
With each crew member's headset connected to a voice-activated intercom system, convenient "hands free" communication is provided. This feature improves safety by permitting the vehicle operator to communicate without diverting attention away from traffic surveillance. Additional safety is provided by allowing other crew members to give traffic alerts. Use of a Sigtronics intercom also saves time by enabling an officer to brief the crew in route.
Sigtronics' intercom systems interface to all mobile radios, and with a MRIM-2, to cellular telephones. This allows communication (both transmit and receive) to be heard through each headset position. Radio transmitting can be done from two or more positions. The crew's intercommunication is not transmitted over the radio. To transmit over the radio, a radio push-to-talk switch is activated, and only that person's voice will be heard over the air.
Voice-activated UltraSound Intercoms turn on instantly when you start speaking and turn off when you stop. Noise pick-up is eliminted through the mic. Radio transmit at the pump panel is included in all the systems.

With the S-A-F-E Communicator you and a crew member can communicate with two agencies at the same time and have intercom capability with two more crew members. The dual radio capability of the S-A-F-E unit allows the two command headset positions to select which radios to transmit and receive on, independent of the other headset. This voice-activated intercom eliminates noise pick-up. Turns on instantly when you start speaking and turns off when you stop. An auxiliary input makes it possible to monitor a third radio.
The EAI Intercom turns on instantly when you start speaking and turns off when you stop. It eliminates noise pick-up through mic. There are EAI Intercom Systems for all fire apparatus and emergency vehicles, for single or dual radio systems, and is available in 4 crew, 5 station and 6 crew, 7 station models.
The MRIM-2 Mobile Radio Interface Module connects between a single headset, push-to-talk (PTT) switch and your mobile radio, or you can use it to connect a cellular telephone to your intercom system. The MRIM-2 Interface allows two-way radio communication via Sigtronics' Emergency Headsets.
The MRIM-2 is used in high noise applications where radio communication is required, but vehicle intercom is not. Normal radio operation is still possible with a standard hand microphone and speaker.
Plug Setcom's wireless module into your existing wired intercom system, and you can take advantage of the Setcom Liberator™ wireless headset.
The 3CX Phone System is a full-featured, software-based, voice over internet (VoIP) PBX that replaces proprietary hardware PBX or PABX phone systems.
