Info-ZIP is an Open-Source group of developers on the Internet whose purpose is to provide free, portable, high-quality versions of the Zip and UnZip compressor-archiver utilities.
I am working with the core Info-ZIP developers (Ed Gordon, and Steven M. Schweda) in an effort to revamp the zip and unzip port for z/OS to better handle both z/OS traditional "MVS" (non-POSIX) files, and z/OS UNIX Systems Services POSIX files.
