Kevin began teaching at the age of 16. He teaches skaters at all levels and disciplines. He has taught many skaters that have achieved their gold tests in all disciplines. Kevin has taken many skaters to Skate Ontario Provincial Championships. He has also taught competitive skaters that up to the Skate Canada Challenge Championships.
Kevin has been teaching Learn to Skate and Figure skating for 31 years. He has also been teaching Power Skating with ISPSS for 18 years.

Austin is currently still competing in freeskate programs at the provincial level. Outside of coaching and skating, Austin enjoys dragon boating with a local team. Austin looks forward to meeting all the new skaters this year.

After retiring from the competitive figure skating many years ago, I decided in 2015 that I missed it. I went to my local arena where we lived at the time, and introduced myself, thus starting down my coaching journey. The sport had really changed in 20 years!! In 2022, I decided that I wanted to train to compete again as an adult skater and contacted Kevin. Thru my journey as a skater, I also obtained my coaching position with the club and I am so excited to be a part of an amazing coaching team! I truly had missed coaching since our move into the Southwestern Ontario area in 2018!
My goal and focus are always to help the skater understand and reach their fullest potential in a safe and positive training environment. I have a degree in Adult Education and I also have my Project Manager Professional Designation. All this helps me with developing the skaters. I currently also provide training in First Aid and CPR through St. John Ambulance.
