A former Halton District Physical Education teacher and Administrator, Jan has always had a commitment to staying active both mentally and physically. In 2001 as a University of Toronto doctoral candidate Jan focused on Ageism and now believes she has found the optimum intervention strategy for Body and Brain fitness - Nordic Pole Walking!

Jan Is also an avid traveler, she has completed over 15 cruises both on Ocean and River ships. She has learned to pack light, rolling all items that go in the suitcase. Over the last 7 years in the Travel Industry Jan has learned some valuable tips that she like to share with everyone.
